Dendritic Opal Octopus necklace

This used to be a fork… and started out as an accident! When trying to heat up the tines to bend them into a ring, one melted into a funny tentacle looking shape and the octopus was born! This is made from .925 Sterling Silver with a Dendritic Opal cabochon held in a prong setting. Pendant measures 2 5/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide, comes on an antiqued 22 inch sterling silver box chain. 
 
Dendritic Opal
Dendritic Opal is a district variety of opal that contains inclusions of manganese or iron oxide that look like fern leaves or tree branches. It is usually colorless or white with black, brown, or green dendrites running though it. It is known to promote growth and abundance and connection with nature. It opens pathways to spiritual growth and attracts positive energies while repelling negative ones. During the middle ages it was thought to hold magical powers and unlock the magic of the bearer. Work with this stone if you are needing more balance and clarity in your life!

We have a variety of gemstones and metals to choose from. Or if you have a specific stone that you would like used in a custom piece, we can do that too. Know that this is a time-consuming process and we ask that you allow 2-3 weeks processing time (from receipt of supplies if using a custom stone).
